I wanted to make the card like something I might have found in my grandmother's things, pretty and well used. I also love this stamp set (SU Chic Boutique), but I have found that it can be difficult to use. The Eiffel Tower requires a large rectangle to hold it, and the dress form does not fill up a card enough. I think that stamping the tower on printed paper helps fill up some of the white space.
Here are the materials I used: Stamps: SU Chic Boutique Paper: Basic Grey Nook and Pantry (LOVE this!), SU Garden Green Other: Brown string from Archivers, Gold Shimmer Spray.
Here is the Mojo Layout for this week:
Great card - love the Eiffel tower. Thanks for sharing :) I hear you on the time spent making a card - I do the same thing. Seems like it takes so long sometimes just working out the details. I am getting a bit faster - occasionally :) But like you said - it is fun.
ReplyDeleteI think this card is just beautiful. I love the colors and the vintage look. I also know what you mean about the time it takes to put together a card. Sometimes it's fast and other times it seems to take forever. But I still love it!
ReplyDeletePretty card! Love the Parisian theme.
